“The Return” - the latest spot in Kia’s Give It Everything campaign - turns the lens on fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, the art community of Marfa, and the Kia Telluride.
In this emotional spot, Brandon Maxwell returning to Marfa, but this time behind the wheel of a Kia Telluride. Brandon nostalgically revisits the town that first inspired him and pays homage to it; taking in its landscapes and local characters, before finally arriving at the local school. The spot ends with a dedication: “Kia & Brandon Maxwell are proud to contribute to the schools of Marfa, Texas.”
Brandon has joined forces with Kia to endow the local Marfa school district with a much-needed $100,000 grant for the next generation of schoolchildren. The spot culminates with the tagline Give It Everything and becomes a celebration of that shared spirit.
The film was shot on location in Marfa, Texas, using only local residents and non-actors.
